2015 was the year that marked major change for me. I had lost my full time employment, I downsized my house to have some financial freedom (not knowing i would lose my job) and January is the anniversary month of my mother death, so that month is always a little sad for me. In spite of all that, I had also decided to pursue my photography as a full time entrepreneur. Not to mention the emotional and mental stress major changes can bring. I was a little scared, a bit nervous but very much excited to start this long awaited journey. For the first time in my life I was pursuing something I felt, very passionate about, very strongly about, and very enthused about!
While a lot of unexpected change has happened, the best change I experienced was when I married my best friend, Tony. I never thought I could meet someone who truly knows and understands me. In life it's already challenging enough to meet someone you click with, get along with, appreciates you, and allows you to be you, so when you do find that person, it's pretty amazing and special. Not to mention my better half Tony, is a kind, caring, insightful, spiritual, patient, funny, spontaneous soul.
It didn't take long for us to decide to unite our lives together. We had an intimate nuptial on a beautiful Friday. Since our day was spontaneous and short planned, I knew who I wanted to capture my day, and I'm so glad he (Charlton Inije) was available to capture our day. He did an awesome job in telling our sweet story and I can't thank him enough for his support. Here are a few images and our slideshow from our special day.
